Tandem Skydiving Information

What is Tandem Skydiving?
Tandem jumps are meant to offer an introduction to the sport. They allow the learner to "SKYDIVE" with an experienced jumper. A tandem jump consists of an experienced jumper called a "Tandemmaster" and the passenger (YOU). The passenger and Tandemmaster each wear a harness. The passengers' harness attaches to the front of the master's harness and the two of them jump together from approximately 14000 feet above the ground, freefall together for 65 seconds, open the parachute together, and land together under one really big parachute. A tandem jump requires anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes of additional ground preparation.

Adventure Skydiving Center has been serving Tennessee for nearly 20 years and has some of the most experienced professional skydiving instructors in the sport on staff.

Tandem jumping provides an obvious advantage for the adventurous spirit who cannot adequately meet the physical or proficiency requirements for Accelerated FreeFall jumps. By relying on the Tandemmaster's skills, they will still be able to experience the thrill of skydiving. Tandem Skydiving is also a great choice for a first skydive for those who wish to experience skydiving but do not wish to spend hours training to do so.

At Adventure Skydiving Center Tennessee, we do tandem jumps daily Please contact us in advance to ensure your place on our skydiving aircraft. For tandem rates, please see our Rates & Membership page.
